Paul has performed as the Lead/1st trumpet player with The U.S. Air Force Bands, The U.S. Army’s Jazz Ambassadors, Maynard Ferguson, Nicholas Payton, The San Antonio Symphony, The Smithsonian Jazz Masterworks Orchestra, and many other notable artists. His lead and solo trumpet playing can be heard on hundreds of recordings as well as radio, television shows, jingles, and motion picture soundtracks.

Paul has given numerous lectures, clinics, and masterclasses around the world. He has also performed as a special guest soloist with numerous universities, colleges, high schools, and professional bands throughout the USA and abroad.

Paul Stephens is a Powell Trumpet Artist and Yamaha Performing Artist. He endorses Stork Custom Mouthpieces, Royer Microphones, Robinson’s Remedies, and Zaja Valve Oil.

Paul currently resides in his home State of Oklahoma with his wife, Allana.
